The Stable-Trek is a trekking pole to monopod adapter that will add incredible stability to your glassing game for just a few ounces. The Stable-Trek will attach to any model of trekking pole, and secures to the tip in seconds using the knurled thumb screw. The integral miniature ball head has a 1/4-20 threaded stud - this industry standard thread will attach directly into the bino clamp (sold separately). This gives the perfect combination for stability while glassing - mounting your binoculars to a stable platform with full articulation. This is simply the best way to mount your binoculars to a tripod!

So this thing is about as awesome of as tool as it gets

So this thing is about as awesome of as tool as it gets. I have use it for 2 deer seasons now and I couldn’t see hunting with out it. I have a pair of 15x50 binos and this helps them sit 95% as steady as a tripod without the weight. Somewhere during my hunt this year I dropped this during a stalk and after hours of looking I could not find it. So I hiked to the tallest peak where I could get cell service and I re ordered it. It showed up at my house so I could use it the very next week. That’s how much I love this thing.
It’s easy to use and set up. Fits in a pocket and is built very well.

Highly recommended!

Super light and paired with the the Backcountry Lite Ballhead and a lightweight spotter, this is a super lightweight savings piece of kit that has great functionality!

Never leave home without the "instant monopod"

For 3oz., this is a no-brainer. On certain hunts I just don't need or want to bring a spotter and tripod, but I always have my binos. This allows me to quickly attach the Stable Trek to one pole (which I always have with me) and steadies my glassing nicely.
While it won't replace a dedicated tripod, it bridges the gap well, and always gives you the option to glass more effectively with next to no weight penalty.
